💛 This is a queer, feminist, LGBTQIA++ & BIPOC-affirming space (allies welcome)
💛 There is 1 flight of stairs to navigate up to the studio (no elevator)Â
💛 In the studio we will be primarily standing/moving/floor-sitting (bolsters, meditation cushions, some firm-backed floor-chairs, and a couple of regular chairs available).
💛 This offering uses amplified sound including recorded drum beats and thick basslines. The singing and movement are specifically designed to help hold and move the intensity. Volume can be adjusted within reason; if you have a nervous system for which this sensory input might be overwhelming, please choose whether to attend accordingly.Â
💛 Masks optional — please mask up if you are safest that way.
💛 Please do not attend if you have symptoms of respiratory illness or have recently been exposed to or tested positive for COVID.
💛 Ages 18+
🚫No food or alcohol at this event
🚫No outside shoes in the studio -- bare feet or grippy indoor foot coverings only
🚫No phones/screens on the dance floorÂ
🚫 No chitchat during the circle (come early or hang out after for community time! 🥳)Â
